Opening Exhibition: Entangled
with artist talk by Latifa Medjdoub
We warmly invite you to join us for the opening of our newest exhibition, Entangled on Saturday, 17 October at 15h00 at OpenArtExchange, Hoogstraat 85, Schiedam. Entangled features the works of two contemporary artists: Latifa Medjdoub aka Laftmonk & Henri Kalama. The exhibition will be on view until November 28th, 2026.
For the opening, we are pleased to welcome Latifa Medjdoub, who following her residency, will be present to share insights into her work and artistic practice. Accompanied by music and bites, we invite you to join us for an afternoon of art, conversation, and exchange.
Entangled brings into dialogue the works of Kalama and Medjdoub, exploring the invisible connections and relationships that link people, emotions, materials, and worlds. Through textile sculpture and painting, both artists create intricate systems of lines, colours, fibres, and layers, reflecting on interconnectedness, exchange, and the ways individual elements come together to form something larger.
