Opening 'Echoes of Nature' duo exhibition Sanda Amadou & Yao Metsoko

Opening 'Echoes of Nature'

This past Saturday, OpenArtExchange opened the duo exhibition Echoes of Nature, featuring works by renowned West African artists Sanda Amadou (Benin) and Yao Metsoko (Togo/France). It was a festive afternoon where art, music, and meaningful encounters came together.

On this sunny spring day, visitors were welcomed with live music by the duo Fortune Strings, consisting of violinist Intan Werry and guitarist Boris Oud.

Artist Sanda Amadou was present and engaged with visitors about his work. His mixed media installations invite reflection on the relationship between humanity, nature, and the sacred—timely themes that resonate deeply today. Together with the works of Yao Metsoko, the exhibition presents a powerful visual statement for renewed connection with the natural world.

Echoes of Nature is on view until 14 June at OpenArtExchange, Hoogstraat 85 in Schiedam.
