Michael Agemo

Michael Agemo (b. 1988, Nigeria) is an upcoming Nigerian visual artist, based in the historic coastal town of Badagry. His work is rooted in personal experiences, daily observations, and encounters. Agemo first explored his creativity as a fashion designer in Ivory Coast, before returning to Nigeria to dedicate himself fully to visual art.

Working primarily with textiles, Agemo crafts layered portraits that celebrate family and home as vital sources of connection.
