25–29 November 2026 | De Kromhouthal, Amsterdam

We are delighted to announce OpenArtExchange's first participation in Affordable Art Fair Amsterdam, taking place from 25 to 29 November 2026 at De Kromhouthal.

For this year's edition, we will present a vibrant selection of contemporary African art, bringing together seven artists whose diverse practices explore identity, cultural heritage, spirituality, and contemporary society through a rich variety of materials, techniques, and visual languages.

Discover the richly textured abstract compositions of Kingsley Ogwara and Richard Laté Lawson-Body, whose layered paintings explore organic forms, movement, and the interplay of colour and texture. The colourful, symbolic worlds of Yao Metsoko and Souleymane Konaté offer distinctive perspectives on spirituality, ancestral traditions, and the relationship between humanity and nature.

Material experimentation takes centre stage in the works of Mounou Désiré Koffi, who transforms discarded mobile phone keypads into vibrant compositions reflecting on contemporary life and technological waste, and Demba Camara, whose imaginative sculptures made from recycled materials reinterpret technological forms as modern-day fetishes.

Completing the presentation, Princesse Keirath brings a unique multidisciplinary approach, combining painting, collage, and symbolism to explore Beninese cultural heritage, rituals, and collective memory.

Together, these artists highlight the diversity and creativity of contemporary African art, offering visitors an opportunity to discover a wide range of artistic perspectives and expressions.

We look forward to welcoming you at Affordable Art Fair Amsterdam!
