Met een carrière van meer dan dertig jaar heeft Alex een uitgebreid internationaal cv met prestigieuze tentoonstellingen. Ze werd gekozen in de Royal Society of Sculptors in 2000, The Free Painters and Sculptors in 2014 en The London Group in 2018.

Met een carrière van meer dan dertig jaar heeft Alex (1958) een uitgebreid internationaal cv met prestigieuze jurytentoonstellingen. Ze werd gekozen in de Royal Society of Sculptors in 2000, The Free Painters and Sculptors in 2014 en The London Group in 2018.

Ze studeerde beeldhouwkunst aan de Wimbledon School of Art bij Katherine Gilli, Robin Greenwood en Glyn Williams en vervolgens de Advanced cursus aan de St Martins School of Art bij Tim Scott en Alan Gouk. Ze heeft verschillende belangrijke fellowships ontvangen in Japan en de VS en in 2016 ontving ze de Brian Mercer Fellowship waar ze 3 maanden doorbracht in de Mariani Bronze Foundry in Italië.

Ze maakte openbaar werk in het Caribisch gebied, Europa en de VS. Jurytentoonstellingen zijn onder andere de ING Discerning Eye, Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, Royal Society of Sculptors Summer Exhibition, Creekside Open, Cork Street Open, Wells Contemporary en de London Group Open.
