Artistic Fusion: A First Look at Milan's (un)fair 2024

(un)fair 2024 at SuperStudio Maxi in Milan has once again showcased its pivotal role as a platform for the new generation of art collectors and contemporary art enthusiasts. From March 1st to 3rd, this distinguished event returned for its third edition, creating a bridge between international talents and an eager audience. This year marked our inaugural participation at an Italian art fair, where we proudly presented an impressive selection of works from artists like Kingsley Ogwara (Luxembourg/Nigeria), Steve Bandoma (DR Congo), Sanda Amadou (Benin), Serge Diama (DR Congo), Casca (Portugal/Angola), Thierno Diallo (Mali), and Syl Loko (Benin).

The fair embodied a unique blend of art and culture, spotlighting both established names and artists outside the mainstream deserving of discovery. It offered more than just an exhibition space; it was a vibrant meeting point where artistic performances, musical experiences, and stimulating conversations merged into an unforgettable experience.

The passion for art and the drive to collect were the central themes of this edition, palpable at the fair and in the campaign image, skillfully captured by the creative vision of artist Rooy Charlie Lana in the bathrooms of SuperStudio Maxi. (un)fair 2024 undoubtedly left a lasting impression on all who attended, further emphasizing the significance and dynamism of the contemporary art scene.
